Question: I’m in my 50’s and have tried so many peels, lasers and skin products but the pores on my face are still large and noticeable. Is there any effective treatment that exists?
Answer: A most effective treatment for large pores on the face is Infini, a powerful radiofrequency treatment that stimulates collagen. As we age, we lose the collagen and elastin in our facial skin, resulting in sagging, wrinkles, rough skin texture and widening of facial pores.
Infini can restore our rate of collagen regeneration to one that is closer to what it was when we were younger, with smaller pores, softer wrinkles, and smoother, tighter skin. Infini seems to be more effective than chemical peels, skin products and many lasers which are not as powerful collagen stimulators.
Specialized medical skin care such as Tensage, Refissa, Regenica can effectively boost as well as maintain the results from the Infinite. Additionally, maintenance treatments every 6-12 months depending on your skin and age can allow you to further maintain the skin’s youthfulness. While the initial Infini series consists of three treatments, maintenance treatments are typically single ones rather than a series, when performed in a timely fashion.
Careful consultation with a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon who can assess your skin concerns in thorough detail is the first step in determining the most suitable treatment options for you.
