For west palm beach skin rejuvenation treatments to be successful, microdermabrasion is often a successful part of your treatment plan. Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive treatment whereby a stream of fine crystals emitted onto the skin to loosen the surface layer of dead skin cells. These cells, along with the crystals, are suctioned away to reveal a layer of fresh, invigorated skin. Microdermabrasion can improve your skin in the following ways:
- Brighten dull lifeless skin
- Soften fine lines
- Improve rough, uneven skin texture
- Reduce the effects of acne
- Relieve clogged pores and blackheads
- Reduce the appearance of large pores
- Soften rough or thickened patches of dead skin
- Reduce hyperpigmentation
- Remove surface debris to allow the skin to better absorb topical medications
- Increase circulation for a more natural glow
- Give an overall youthful appearance to your skin
Because only the uppermost layer of the skin, the stratum corneum, is typically removed, there is minimal discomfort and virtually no recuperation. Usually a 6-12 treatment series, approximately 30 minutes per treatment, is recommended to achieve maximum results. Microdermabrasion is most often performed on the face but is also used to on the back and decollete for acne. Microdermabrasion is commonly combined with a lighter chemical peels to enhance it effectiveness on the skin.
While Microdermabrasion is not a substitute for surgery, it can be an essential part of your skin care regimen. Microdermabrasion is used in combination with home based skin care products and other non-surgical treatments such as Botox and injectable fillers.
Micropigmentation, more commonly known as Permanent Make-Up, is the application of micro insertions of natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. Micropigmentation is medically proven, completely safe and permanent.
Permanent Make-Up has a broad range of applications in many areas and conditions:
- upper and lower lid eye liner
- lip liner
- lip color
- scar camouflage
- nipple/areola restoration
- hairline enhancement
- improvement of facial asymmetry
- allergies to conventional makeup
- people who are too busy to apply conventional makeup
Micropigmentation of the lips can give more defined lips, increase lip fullness and reduce lipstick bleed into the surrounding skin. Lip colors range from a natural look like the skin pink of a newborn baby’s lips to a more dramatic shades for lip color.
Micropigmentation of the eyebrows can give the appearance of brows that are more defined, have more hair or with increased thickness or fullness.
Micropigmentation can give the appearance of fullness to the hairline in areas where they has been hair loss or thinning.
Eyeliner Upper and/or Lower
Micropigmentation can mimic thousands of tiny eyelashes by implanting micropigments into the lash line. Additional shadowing of the color is used to create a soft natural liner or a more bold, defined line.
Permanent makeup is applied with minimal discomfort and downtime. Most people resume normal activities immediately after the procedure. It is used in both men and women and you have a wide spectrum of colors to choose from. Complete healing takes one to six weeks while the pigmentation matures and reaches its final color. Most importantly, Permanent Make-Up is very natural looking, with time saved by not having to apply and reapply makeup throughout the day.
